Qualifications

• 3+ years procurement experience in mining equipment, machinery, and consumables for underground/open-cast mines.
• Proven track record sourcing for international clients across regions such as Africa, Middle East, and the Americas.
• Solid knowledge of Incoterms, international shipping docs, customs clearance, and global logistics.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and attention to detail when evaluating multi-line proposals.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis and margin calculations.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and negotiating with global suppliers to secure competitive pricing, lead times, and quality for mining equipment and consumables.
• Review RFQs for commercial and technical compliance and prepare competitive customer proposals.
• Liaise with mine operators, vendors, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure order fulfillment.
• Execute purchase orders and supplier contracts with accurate confirmations and compliance docs.
• Assess supplier performance against safety, delivery reliability, and standards.
