Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant procurement experience across IT/digital and corporate services, public or private sector.
• Strong knowledge of procurement legislation and contract conditions.
• CIPS qualification preferred or in progress.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement activity for a range of contracts, ensuring compliant, value-for-money outcomes.
• Provide procurement and commercial advice to stakeholders to shape requirements and decisions.
• Develop sourcing strategies and routes to market that meet business needs and manage risk.
• Prepare and manage tender documentation, evaluation processes and award recommendations in line with governance.
• Collaborate with project teams, suppliers and colleagues to deliver procurements from planning to contract award.
• Support development of supplier relationships and contribute to contract management as needed.
• Apply knowledge of procurement legislation and contract conditions to support well-documented decisions.
• Contribute to the development of the Procurement team by sharing knowledge and best practices.
