Job summary

Vickerstock is recruiting a Global Demand & Inventory Planner to ensure material availability and support production across a major manufacturing business. The role focuses on turning demand and stock data into practical planning actions using ERP systems and advanced Excel.

You will own demand profiling and inventory strategy for a complex global distribution network, coordinating with warehouses to optimise stock levels and lead times while driving improvements in planning accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience managing inventory or demand profiles for a large-scale portfolio.
• Analytical skills within an enterprise ERP to interpret and act on large data sets.
• Experience in inventory planning, materials planning, supply planning, or production planning.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels across raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Take ownership of demand profiling and inventory strategy for a complex global distribution network.
• Manage, analyse, and optimise demand profiles across 30,000+ items.
• Coordinate with global aftermarket warehouses to balance stock and minimise lead times.
• Translate forecasts into precise replenishment plans using ERP capabilities.
• Produce regular inventory reports and dashboards covering stock levels and planning risks.
