Job summary

Supply Technologies is seeking a Planner to oversee demand and supply planning, ensuring optimal inventory and alignment with customer demand. You will partner with procurement, warehousing, and customer operations to maintain product availability while balancing cost and service levels.

Qualifications

• 3 years professional experience in materials planning, inventory planning or demand forecasting.
• Planning experience with SAP would be advantageous but not a requirement.
• Experience in a distribution environment is a plus.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, be able to prioritize multiple tasks, adapt to changing situations and work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical data, customer insights, and market trends.
• Create and manage supply and replenishment plans to ensure product availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to avoid stockouts while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
• Coordinate with customer operations, sales, and procurement to align supply with requirements.
• Identify and resolve supply chain risks such as shortages, delays, or demand fluctuations.
• Analyse planning data and performance metrics (service levels, fill rates, inventory turns) and recommend improvements.
• Manage and maintain planning parameters and master data within ERP/MRP systems.
• Support new product introductions (NPI) and product lifecycle planning.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes and supply chain efficiency.
