Job summary

Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) is seeking a New Business Development Manager to lead the search for new income, focusing on trusts, foundations, and philanthropy. You will identify prospects, develop tailored cases for support, and guide proposals from first contact through negotiation to agreement.

Reporting to the Development & Income Director, you will grow a high-quality pipeline, lead pitches, build senior-level networks, and represent IWF at events, helping diversify income to sustain our

Qualifications

• Proven track record of securing new income from trusts and foundations.
• Managing a business development pipeline from prospecting through to conversion.
• Excellent writer and communicator, able to turn complex work into persuasive cases for support.
• Experience in tech, non-profit or online safety sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Building and managing a high-quality pipeline of trusts, foundations, philanthropic donors and commercial prospects
• Researching funder priorities and developing tailored cases for support, proposals and applications
• Leading pitches and negotiations to secure sustainable, multi-year funding
• Developing innovative partnership propositions that translate IWF's expertise and impact for different audiences
• Growing a network of senior contacts, advisors and intermediaries who can open up new opportunities
• Representing IWF at events, conferences and roundtables
• Reporting on pipeline, forecasts and progress against income targets
