Job summary

Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow is seeking a Senior Fundraising Manager to establish and lead a new fundraising function for a global health-focused college. The role will shape donor propositions, build a pipeline and manage key relationships with Trustees, Fellows and senior leaders.

You will develop governance, CRM practices and policies, and drive major gifts, trusts, foundations and corporate partnerships, balancing strategic vision with hands-on delivery.

Qualifications

• Evidence of working in a senior fundraising or development role.
• Proven experience in fundraising leadership within a charity.
• Track record of securing major gifts from HNWIs, trusts and foundations and/or corporate partners.
• Experience recruiting, managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Experience managing income and expenditure budgets and budgets/forecasting.
• Sound knowledge of fundraising regulations and GDPR.
• Ability to build excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience selecting or overseeing the delivery of a fundraising CRM.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the College's first fundraising function.
• Develop donor propositions and a funded pipeline.
• Collaborate with Trustees, senior colleagues, Fellows and Members.
• Deliver compelling donor communications and public speaking as required.
• Ensure governance, policies and reporting for fundraising.
