Job summary

Guts UK is seeking a senior fundraising leader to drive income growth and diversify the fundraising portfolio, reporting to the Chief Executive and joining the senior leadership team.

This hands-on role balances strategic leadership with on-the-ground delivery, overseeing Fundraising and Communications and building high-value partnerships.

Location includes London or Huddersfield; salary £65-£68k plus £2k London weighting; closing date 21 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Senior fundraising leader with strategic, people-focused leadership and strong operational delivery.
• Experience driving income growth and diversification in a charity setting.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into action and build high‑value partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of our fundraising strategy.
• Diversify income across corporate partnerships, major donors, trusts and foundations, events, community, legacies, individual giving, and philanthropy.
• Develop compelling propositions to attract investment in our mission.
• Build strategic relationships with senior business leaders, philanthropists, partners, and stakeholders.
• Identify and develop new income opportunities.
• Embed donor stewardship and data-driven fundraising support.
• Lead and inspire our growing fundraising team.
• Provide strategic leadership for delivery of our communications strategy.
• Strengthen public education and awareness campaigns and increase the charity's visibility.
• Support the communications team in digital strategy, website development, and ambassador/patrons programme.
