Harvey John partners with a thriving international business in Lewes to appoint an FP&A Manager. This newly created role sits at the heart of commercial finance, shaping investment decisions, pricing, and growth strategies, with exposure to senior leadership.

You will own budgeting, rolling forecasts, and KPI reporting, translating data into actionable recommendations for sales and marketing. Hybrid working with two days in the office is required.

Qualifications

• A qualified or part-qualified accountant (or working towards it) with a strong FP&A or commercial finance background.
• Experienced using business intelligence and data visualization software, alongside strong Excel and ERP skills
• Product based industry background
• An insatiable curiosity: you're not satisfied until you know why a number is what it is
• A highly commercially focused mindset and able to translate your findings into actionable recommendations
• The confidence to challenge, the skill to influence, and the ability to build strong relationships with all kinds of personalities
• Pace, resilience and the flexibility to pivot when the business needs you to

Responsibilities

• Shape strategy, not just report on it, and support, influence and challenge annual plans.
• Be the voice in the room with brand owners; underpin meetings with international partners.
• Turn data into commercial action by translating financial performance into recommendations for sales and marketing.
• Transform how the business plans with budgeting and rolling forecasts.
• Bring real-time clarity to cost with live visibility into cost bases.
• Define success by creating and tracking KPIs linking financial results to operations.
• Spot risks and opportunities and communicate implications to executives.
