Job summary

Banco Santander is seeking a Finance Business Manager in Milton Keynes. You will own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, delivering P&L analysis and governance across the T&O Office.

You will partner with senior stakeholders to drive efficiency and strategic investment decisions, shaping financial governance and performance insights. The role requires extensive financial management experience, advanced Excel, and strong communication skills with senior teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or equivalent practical experience.
• ACCA/CIMA or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in budgeting, P&L management and financial reporting at senior level.
• Strong financial modelling and forecasting skills.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for the business area.
• Manage end-to-end financial performance tracking, including P&L analysis.
• Develop and maintain governance frameworks for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide strategic financial analysis and scenario modelling for decisions.
• Coordinate governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• Drive cost optimisation and continuous improvement across the function.
• Ensure capacity planning aligns with Workforce Strategy recommendations.
