Job summary

Bupa Dental Care UK is seeking a Finance Manager - Financial Reporting based in Manchester. You will lead consolidated group reporting, balance sheet, cashflow and IFRS submissions, and oversee statutory accounts for 135 entities, while coaching five Financial Accountants.

You'll partner with risk, tax and operations, drive continuous improvement and present insights to senior leadership, supporting strategic decisions in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Experience in financial reporting and statutory accounts.
• Proven leadership of a team, coaching and development.
• Experience leading audits and presenting to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support Financial Controller with consolidated Group reporting and financial controls.
• Lead monthly and quarterly reporting (balance sheet, cashflow, IFRS, Solvency II submissions).
• Ensure reconciliations and controls are robust and compliant with accounting standards.
• Partner with Finance Manager, Management Accounts to deliver timely month-end reporting.
• Provide financial support for planning/forecasting (IFRS 16, depreciation, balance sheet, cashflow).
• Build relationships across Finance, Commercial, and Operations as a trusted business partner.
• Support business cases, continuous improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects.
