Zusammenfassung

Harmonic Finance™, a high-growth online retail finance partner, seeks an Interim Financial Controller in London on a 6-month contract. You will own month-end close, oversee daily finance operations and lead year-end audit preparation while managing a Finance Assistant.

The role requires ACA/CA qualification, strong audit experience, and the ability to operate hands-on in a fast-paced D2C environment. Hybrid London work arrangement with a start ASAP.

Qualifikationen

• Fully qualified accountant with audit training (ACA or CA preferred).
• Experience as Finance Manager/Senior Finance Manager/Financial Controller owning the month-end close.
• Experience leading external audits and preparing statutory accounts.
• Background in financial control and finance operations, not FP&A.
• Experience in high-transaction environments such as D2C/subscription/retail with payments gateways.

Aufgaben

• Own the month-end close, accurate and on schedule.
• Lead pre-audit preparation and support the external audit from February.
• Main contact for external auditors and contribute to statutory accounts.
• Manage the Finance Assistant and oversee payment runs, invoice processing, banking and cash forecasting.
• Prepare the group consolidation with the FP&A team.
• Maintain VAT compliance and cap table with outsourced accountants.
• Strengthen financial controls and close out audit recommendations.
• Identify and remove manual steps in finance processes using systems and AI tools.
