Venus Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a technology-focused business to recruit a Financial Controller in a hybrid setup based near Farnborough. The role leads a small finance team, delivering robust reporting, forecasting, budgeting and planning while shaping financial strategy and performance.

Qualifications

• ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification required.
• Strong accounting and financial reporting expertise.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Experience with financial systems and software.
• Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the small finance team, creating collaboration and improvement.
• Monitor key financial and operational metrics to boost efficiency.
• Deliver accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and planning.
• Contribute to the company's financial strategy and growth.
• Strengthen financial controls, manage risk and compliance.
• Partner with stakeholders providing commercial financial insight.
• Build relationships with external partners, banks and investors.
