Job summary

Indevor Group – Indevor Bonds is seeking a commercially minded Financial Controller / Head of Finance to lead the finance function and partner with senior leadership in governing the business. Hybrid working is offered after onboarding into the team.

The role reports to the Managing Director and group directors with responsibility for controls, reporting, cash, and strategic financial leadership to support growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Financial Controller or Head of Finance.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and leadership.
• Experience producing management accounts, budgets and forecasts.
• Excellent cash-flow management and internal controls.
• Ability to work independently and influence senior leaders.
• Experience with multi-company structures is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the day-to-day finance function.
• Lead month-end, management accounts, balance sheets, P&L, and commentary.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, forecasts and budgets.
• Provide financial analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with MD and Group Directors to assess performance and risks.
• Oversee invoicing, payroll, supplier payments.
• Coordinate statutory reporting, tax submissions and audits.
• Improve financial systems and internal controls.
• Mentor and develop the finance team.
• Be the primary finance contact for leadership and advisers.
• Identify efficiency and profitability opportunities.
