Job summary

Indevor Group Ltd is seeking a proactive Management Accountant to deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis. You will work closely with the Managing Director to strengthen financial control and drive efficiency in a growing house-building industry-focused business.

Key responsibilities include month-end reporting, VAT compliance, debtor control, and driving process improvements across finance systems. Strong attention to detail and cross-team collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
• Strong understanding of VAT, P&L reporting and credit control.
• Excellent communication skills and cross-department collaboration.
• Ambitious and career-focused with proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare end-of-month management accounts and P&L reports with insights.
• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and reconcile accounts accurately.
• Prepare VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements.
• Monitor debtors and manage credit control procedures.
• Analyse financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and document company policies, processes and controls.
• Create and maintain business performance reports and KPIs.
• Support MD with ad-hoc financial and administrative tasks.
• Improve finance systems to streamline reporting and automation.
