Job summary

Pratap Partnership in Peterborough is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our growing financial services business. Reporting to the Financial Director, you will take responsibility for financial control, reporting and manage a small team of staff.

You will oversee the production of accurate monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow and statutory reporting, while ensuring robust financial controls and processes.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong financial controls experience.
• Experience in financial services is advantageous.
• Experience leading a small finance team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end and management reporting process.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Maintain and strengthen financial controls and processes.
• Support statutory accounts and year-end requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and commercial insight to the senior leadership team.
• Collaborate with budget holders and operations to improve performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and reporting.
• Ensure governance and compliance within a regulated environment.
• Support and develop the wider finance team.
