Job summary

Trade Mastermind Group in Peterborough is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead the finance function, strengthen controls, and improve profitability across the organisation. You will work closely with the CEO, CFO and senior leaders to manage cash flow, forecasting and performance insights.

This hands-on leadership role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification and a track record of delivering financial improvements in a multi-million-pound business.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACCA/CIMA qualification required or equivalent.
• Proven experience as Finance Director or senior financial leader.
• Experience in multi-million-pound businesses and profitability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance function across multiple businesses with strong controls.
• Oversee management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Manage company-wide P&Ls and departmental profitability.
• Own cash flow management, working capital and forecasting.
• Lead credit control, debtor management and debt recovery strategies.
• Strengthen financial systems, reconciliations and internal controls.
• Provide financial insights to senior leadership and influence decisions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Collaborate with department heads to drive performance.
