Job summary

Alstom is seeking a Finance Project Manager to act as the financial partner for project strategy and performance. You will contribute to negotiations, provide analysis and guide the team to optimise margins and cash flow while ensuring governance and reporting standards are met.

You will collaborate with the Project Manager and cross-functional teams, supporting bids, reviews, and monthly close with clear financial insight and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

• High level of experience or understanding of project financial management and forecasting.
• Strong understanding of financial performance metrics, reporting and risk/compliance.
• Solid organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
• Excellent MS Excel knowledge; SAP experience is preferred.
• CIMA/ACCA or equivalent qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Partner for Financial Strategy success of the project and lead budgeting.
• Contribute to negotiation processes to secure project success.
• Provide financial analysis, advice and guidance to the project team.
• Ensure compliance with financial governance, standards and reporting.
• Monitor costs, revenue, margin, cash flow and working capital.
• Support bids, tenders, and contract reviews with financial evaluations.
