Job summary

Alstom in London seeks a Finance Project Manager to drive financial strategy for the Old Oak Common project. You will lead forecasts, analyse costs and margins, and partner with project teams to enable strong commercial decisions in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires CIMA/ACCA or equivalent qualification, advanced Excel skills, SAP experience, and English communication. Permanent appointment with generous benefits and performance rewards.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
• Experience in project finance and financial strategy for a large project is advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with SAP; Power BI is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate forecasts for sales, costs, margin and cash.
• Manage and analyse costs, revenue and profitability across the project.
• Provide finance advice and cooperate with project stakeholders to support decision-making.
• Participate in overall Project Management process jointly with Project Managers (PM).
• Support project leadership in risks and opportunities and in contingencies/savings sign-off.
• Ensure governance, reporting compliance and contract margin optimisation.
• Actively contribute to bids and tender stages for service projects.
