Job summary

Finatal is partnering with a high-growth SaaS business to appoint a Finance Business Partner. The role links Finance with R&D, Product and IT, providing insight into investment decisions, product profitability and technology spend.

You will build product-level P&Ls and deliver strategic financial planning to leadership. Ideal candidates are ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong FP&A, modelling skills and experience in SaaS or tech finance, complemented by advanced analytics tools such as Power BI,

Qualifications

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred.
Experience in FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, Technology Finance or Product Finance.
Strong stakeholder management and commercial acumen.
Advanced financial modelling and investment appraisal skills.
SaaS, technology or high-growth business experience preferred.
Power BI, Tableau, SQL or similar analytics tool experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

Partner with R&D, Product and IT leaders on investment decisions and financial planning.
Develop business cases for technology, infrastructure and AI initiatives.
Provide commercial insight and challenge to support strategic decision-making.
Build and maintain product-level P&Ls, analysing revenue, costs and profitability.
Monitor technology and infrastructure spend against budget and forecasts.
Track R&D investments against approved business cases.
Identify opportunities to improve investment returns and cost efficiency.
Produce dashboards and management reports for senior stakeholders.
Maintain governance processes around investment approval and spend control.
Ensure financial data and reporting remain accurate and robust.
