Job summary

Simply Business, a technology-led insurer in London, seeks a Finance Business Partner for Shared Services on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will own budgeting, forecasting, and finance transformation, partnering with Tech, Engineering, Data, and Digital Product to guide strategic investments and drive efficiency.

You will lead MI production, collaborate on capital development, and ensure consistency across global cost centres, delivering clear executive insights.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 5+ years PQE in FP&A or business partnering.
• Data-savvy with ability to turn large financial data into insights.
• Experience with finance transformation and BI/EPM tools.
• Strong communicator able to influence senior leadership.
• Autonomous self-starter in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive team to drive long-range Shared Services strategy.
• Own month-end closing, budgeting, forecasting and cost-base performance.
• Lead production and automation of management information and reporting.
• Collaborate with tech and product teams on business cases and CAPDEV.
• Oversee inter‑company transfer pricing and capital development.
• Align global finance partners to support Shared Services deliverables.
