Job summary

SGN is seeking a Finance Business Partner to act as a trusted advisor to operational and senior leaders, delivering financial insight, challenge, and support to drive decision-making, performance improvement and value creation across the business.

The role covers budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, KPI development, and reporting, with a hybrid UK-based setup and a strong emphasis on partnering with non-finance colleagues to translate data into action.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with relevant professional designation.
• Experience in finance business partnering or management accounting.
• Strong modelling and Excel capabilities; ability to present data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior stakeholders to support strategic decision making.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and medium-term planning processes.
• Develop and evaluate business cases with cost/benefit and ROI analysis.
• Produce clear, insightful management reporting with narrative recommendations.
• Analyse trends and KPIs to inform performance improvement.
