Job summary

Alpine Formula 1 Team is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support the Operations and Technical functions, partnering with senior leaders to provide financial insight and drive performance. You will manage operating and capital expenditure, and support forecasting, planning and cost-control in a high-speed Formula 1 environment.

The role requires professional accounting qualifications or finalist status, strong FP&A experience, and excellent stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or finalist with relevant experience.
• Experience in FP&A or commercial finance roles.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and modelling skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
• Experience with Capex planning and investment appraisal.

Responsibilities

• Act as the finance business partner to Operational and Technical leaders, providing robust financial support and challenge.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities for operating expenditure across designated departments.
• Deliver insightful analysis of financial performance, identifying risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Support decision-making through scenario modelling, investment appraisals, resource allocation reviews and cost-saving initiatives.
• Manage capital expenditure planning and reporting of designated departments, ensuring alignment with objectives.
• Provide regular performance reporting to senior leadership and support strategic decisions.
• Ensure compliance with Formula 1 financial regulations and cost cap requirements.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and operations for effective deployment of resources.
