Job summary

Alpine Formula 1 Team seeks an experienced Chief Accountant to lead financial reporting, controls and governance across the business, ensuring timely and compliant local and Group reporting.

You will drive audits, statutory reporting, budgeting and strategic finance initiatives while partnering with senior stakeholders to enable performance in one of sport's most demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Qualified accounting professional (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Extensive post-qualification experience in financial accounting and group reporting.
• Strong knowledge of UK-adopted IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Experience managing external audits and engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of financial controls, balance sheet governance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead accurate and timely financial reporting across the business.
• Own month-end and year-end close processes and deadlines.
• Maintain and enhance financial controls, policies and governance frameworks.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and provisions.
• Prepare management, Board and Group reporting packs with clear financial insights.
• Oversee the external audit process and auditor relationships.
• Support statutory reporting and regulatory requirements.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning and strategic initiatives.
• Drive process improvements, ERP enhancements and finance transformation projects.
• Develop strong cross-organisational relationships to inform business decisions.
