Job summary

Your Recruitment Partner Ltd. in Manchester is seeking a hands-on Finance Leader to join our SME team. You will report to the Managing Director, produce management accounts, forecasts and budgets, and provide commercial recommendations to support decision making.

Responsibilities include maintaining financial controls, developing plans, monitoring budgets, and presenting insights to management to optimise working capital and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to the Managing Director, maintaining the financial controls in the business, alongside production of monthly management and year end accounts.
• Develop, implement, and monitor financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with department heads to create and manage departmental budgets.
• Monitor budget variances and provide recommendations for cost control.
• Present financial information to management, providing insights and recommendations.
• Manage cash flow and liquidity, ensuring optimal working capital.
• Forecast and address potential cash flow issues.
