Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Experience as Financial Controller or similar in an SME.
• Strong contract management and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to lead a small finance team and improve processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and commercial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly management accounts process and reporting.
• Cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
• Oversee long-term contract performance and variance analysis.
• Analyse gross profit and project profitability.
• Lead the year-end audit process and controls improvements.
• Manage payment runs and banking activities.
• Develop and coach a small finance team.
• Support operational projects and ad hoc business tasks.
