Job summary

The CFO HQ in Cambridge is recruiting a Finance Manager to balance strategic business partnering with hands-on financial management. You will lead a team of four, drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across the organisation.

You will be ACCA/ACA or CIMA qualified with finance management experience in a complex setting and have strong expertise in management accounting, budgeting and reporting.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA or CIMA qualified with finance management experience
• Experience leading a finance team and partnering with senior stakeholders
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial planning capabilities
• Proven experience in management accounting and month-end processes
• Knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, management accounting and financial planning activities.
• Develop long-term financial forecasts and business plans aligned with strategy.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis and year-end reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies and procedures.
• Manage departmental accounts, controls and month-end processes.
• Oversee accounts payable, PO management and expenditure controls.
• Provide commercial and financial insight to senior leaders.
