Job summary

Morgan Jones Recruitment Consultants has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager in Broadstairs, Kent. You will lead the finance function, report to the Managing Director and provide commercial insight to support growth and decision-making.

The role covers financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and controls, with scope to improve systems and processes and mentor the finance team. Office-based, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a finance function and collaborating with senior management.
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Experience taking ownership of budgeting, forecasting and cash flow.
• Experience managing or developing a finance team.
• Proactive approach to improving finance systems, processes and reporting.
• ACCA/ACA/CIMA desirable; qualified by experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the finance function across the business.
• Produce monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Manage cash flow and working capital.
• Provide financial analysis and commercial insight to the MD and SLT.
• Monitor performance, highlight risks and opportunities.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll.
• Ensure strong financial controls and processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Manage relationships with auditors and external stakeholders.
• Review finance systems and drive improvements in efficiency.
