Job summary

Elicay Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Finance Manager for a growing SME in Swanley, Kent. You will take ownership of the full accounting cycle, prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet and reports, and manage cash flow and working capital.

The role reports to the Managing Director as part of the Senior Leadership Team and involves improving finance processes, implementing an automated billing system and providing financial insight for commercial decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience with full accounting cycle and management accounts.
• Experience in growing SME environments.
• Strong Excel skills and financial process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day finance and full accounting cycle.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet and reports.
• Manage cash flow, forecasting, credit control and working capital.
• Handle purchase/sales ledgers, invoicing, payments, VAT and reconciliations.
• Improve financial controls and reporting processes.
• Support implementation of automated billing system.
