Job summary

AtkinsClarke is seeking a Divisional Finance Director based in Essex to provide strategic and commercial leadership across key operational divisions. This role will partner with executive leadership to drive performance and shape future growth.

The successful candidate will oversee financial operations for a core business unit with a turnover of approximately £15m, while also contributing to decision-making across multiple sites within a growing, PE-backed organization.

Responsibilities include leading financial strategy, providing insights, and supporting both organic growth and acquisition efforts to enhance business performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in finance leadership roles, preferably within multi-site organizations.
• Proven track record of driving commercial performance and growth initiatives.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Managing Director and Divisional Operations Director.
• Drive commercial performance across the division.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
