Job summary

Rutherford Briant Recruitment is seeking a Finance Director for a well‑established business on the outskirts of Colchester. You will own the financial strategy, lead budgeting and forecasting, and provide strategic financial leadership to the Board and senior management as the group enters a new growth phase.

Responsibilities include partnering with operations to improve financial and operational efficiency, developing robust MI and governance, and leading a high‑performing finance function.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as Finance Director or equivalent in owner‑managed businesses.
• Ability to own and shape financial strategy aligned with owners' growth plans.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial modelling capabilities.
