Job summary

Refreshing is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead FP&A, financial control and finance operations during a major organisational change. The role supports senior leadership and drives critical transformation initiatives within a global media environment.

You will oversee month-end close, budgeting and forecasting, and provide robust financial insight to enable strategic decisions in a matrixed, international finance function.

Qualifications

• Significant UK Finance Director experience across FP&A and reporting.
• Strong background in financial control, governance and audit readiness.
• Experience leading international finance teams in complex organisations.
• Hands-on, credible leader able to balance strategic priorities with day-to-day needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain robust month-end, quarter-end and management reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
• Improve forecasting processes across complex commercial relationships.
• Provide clear financial insight and decision support to senior leadership.
• Maintain controls, governance, compliance and audit readiness.
• Coach and support senior members of the finance team.
• Oversee finance transformation, ERP, reporting and process-improvement projects.
• Bring structure and priorities during a period of transition.
