Job summary

Trinity House Group is partnering with an ambitious manufacturing organisation to appoint an Interim Finance Transformation Director to lead a critical period of change and help shape a best-in-class finance function.

The role focuses on driving finance transformation, improving processes, strengthening controls, and delivering meaningful change across people, systems, and operations, with oversight across ERP and finance systems and governance.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering successful finance transformation programmes.
• Experience at Finance Director, CFO, Transformation Director or Programme Lead level.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence at Board level.
• Experience implementing finance systems, shared services, or target operating models.
• Manufacturing exposure with similar positions.
• Hands-on approach balancing strategy and execution.
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a finance transformation programme aligned to strategic objectives.
• Review and optimise finance processes, controls and operating models.
• Drive improvements across financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and planning.
• Partner with executive stakeholders to identify efficiency and value opportunities.
• Lead ERP, finance systems and process improvement initiatives.
• Manage programme governance, risks, timelines and stakeholder engagement.
• Support and develop finance teams through periods of significant change.

• Review and optimise finance processes, controls, and operating models.
• Drive improvements across financial reporting, management information, budgeting, forecasting, and planning.
• Partner with executive stakeholders to identify opportunities for efficiency and value creation.
• Lead ERP, finance systems, and process improvement initiatives where required.
• Manage programme governance, risks, timelines, and stakeholder engagement.
• Support and develop finance teams through periods of significant change.

Key Requirements

• Proven track record of delivering successful finance transformation programmes.
• Previous experience operating at Finance Director, CFO, Transformation Director, or Programme Lead level.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at Board and Executive level.
• Experience implementing finance systems, shared services, target operating models, or process improvement initiatives.
• Manufacturing exposure with similar potions
• Hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategy and execution.
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification preferred.
