Job summary

Reporting to the board, you will lead a finance team, oversee budgeting, forecasting and consolidation, optimise working capital and drive system automation. A proven SME finance leader is essential, with strong stakeholder engagement and strategic mindset.
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification required.
- Proven finance director or senior finance leader experience.
- Experience within an SME or entrepreneurial business environment.
- Proven track record in improving controls, reporting and performance.
- Strong commercial finance and business partnering capability.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash management and treasury.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Board and senior leadership to deliver strategy.
- Provide financial and commercial insight to support decisions.
- Lead consolidation, budgets, forecasts and Board reporting.
- Improve management information on margins, pricing and working capital.
- Strengthen controls, governance, risk management and balance-sheet integrity.
- Lead cash-flow forecasting, banking, treasury and FX management.
- Develop product costing, pricing and margin analysis processes.
- Review and improve finance systems, reporting tools and automation.
- Lead, coach and develop the finance team with clear accountability.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors and external partners.
