Job summary

EW Recruitment Limited is seeking a Financial Controller for a strategic, hands-on role in Hemel Hempstead. You will lead the financial operations, deliver reporting, and support budgeting and forecasting.

The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong UK GAAP/SOX knowledge and a track record of managing end-to-end financial processes in a manufacturing or multi-site environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with UK experience.
• Proven ability to deliver accurate financial reports.
• Experience in VAT, corporation tax, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, month-end close and statutory filings.
• Prepare management accounts and provide timely reports.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Manage intercompany, tax packs, and audits.
• Coordinate with VAT, payroll, and R&D teams.
