Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience as Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager.
• Manufacturing/SME background preferred.
• Strong stock accounting and ERP/MRP experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and data-driven mindset.
• Understanding of budgeting, forecasting and cash flow.
• Ability to explain financial information to non-financial colleagues.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Commercially focused, proactive and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Produce timely monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Provide financial analysis and insight to MD and SMT.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and treasury activities.
• Monitor payments to customers and suppliers; oversee payroll.
• Coordinate year-end accounts with auditors and regulatory partners.
• Improve stock control, costing and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain robust financial controls and governance.
• Collaborate with sales, production and operations on performance and margins.
• Support growth initiatives and strategic investment decisions.
