Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe in Hyde is seeking a Finance Analyst to support financial reporting, analysis and decision‑making, helping to drive cost control, profitability and operational performance.

You will assist with weekly P&L reporting, month‑end accounts, journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting and KPI reporting across production‑cost areas.

Qualifications

• Graduate, AAT qualified, or studying towards CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of management accounting principles.
• Strong Excel skills with pivot tables and data analysis.
• Experience with SAP, Power BI or similar systems (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of weekly P&L reporting and month-end accounts.
• Assist with journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyse performance against Budget, Forecast and Prior Year.
• Prepare KPI reporting and variance analysis across labour, materials, overheads and production performance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Assist with stock reporting, stock counts and inventory variance analysis.
• Maintain finance models, trackers and reporting tools.
