Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is seeking a Finance Analyst at our Hyde site to support financial reporting, analysis and decision-making, driving cost control and profitability. You will assist with weekly P&L reporting, month-end close, journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations, while analysing performance against Budget, Forecast and Prior Year.

The role offers exposure to KPI reporting across labour, materials, overheads and production, with opportunities in budgeting, forecasting and financial

Qualifications

• Graduate, AAT qualified, or studying towards CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of management accounting principles.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis.
• Experience with SAP, Power BI or similar systems (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Support weekly P&L reporting and month-end accounts.
• Assist with journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyse performance against Budget, Forecast and Prior Year.
• Prepare KPI reporting and variance analysis across labour, materials, overheads and production performance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Assist with stock reporting, stock counts and inventory variance analysis.
• Maintain finance models, trackers and reporting tools.
