Job summary

MCR Property Group seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager specialising in Facilities to join our Manchester office on a permanent, full-time basis. You will manage procurement, vendor relations and cost controls to support project delivery.

From tendering through to invoicing, you will collaborate across teams to optimise purchases, maximise value and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while ensuring compliance with our high standards of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining productive relationships with staff, stakeholders and suppliers.
• Strong negotiation skills with suppliers for terms and rebates.
• Analytical and numerically adept with problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet targets.
• Experience in construction or facilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Price up materials and plant at tender stage and supply prices.
• Liaise with accounting and place material purchase orders/invoices.
• Source and manage suppliers and maintain preferred vendor database.
• Assist other departments to identify cost savings.
• Participate in direct and indirect procurement; seek efficiencies.
• Perform other duties as requested by your manager.
