Job summary

Metro Bank is seeking a Lead Facilities & Estates Manager to oversee all facilities across stores, offices and operations in Greater London. You will blend hands-on leadership with strategic planning to maintain safety, compliance and excellent customer experiences.

You will manage budgets, lead large-scale improvement programmes, partner with outsourced providers, and drive energy efficiency and ESOS initiatives while supporting business continuity.

Qualifications

• Experience leading facilities across a multi-site estate.
• Proven ability to manage suppliers and contracts.
• Strong stakeholder management and budgeting.
• Experience with safety, compliance and energy management.
• Willingness to travel across estate.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of facilities and estate services across stores, offices and locations.
• Set and manage facilities budget and cost forecasting.
• Develop investment priorities based on site condition and business needs.
• Lead large-scale estate improvement programmes and measure benefits.
• Drive sustainability initiatives and ESOS-related activities.
• Ensure safety, compliance and business continuity.
• Collaborate with outsourced partners and internal teams.
