Phoenix ME Limited is seeking an Estimator to manage day-to-day estimating activities for allocated tenders from enquiry through to pricing, submission and handover. You will coordinate supply-chain inputs, prepare detailed cost build-ups and communicate commercial risks for agreement, while supporting senior staff on complex tenders.

The role requires strong numerical skills, proficiency with Excel and estimating software, and a solid understanding of construction methods, procurement routes

Qualifications

• Proven experience in estimating for M&E sector
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with attention to detail
• Proficiency with Excel and estimating software
• Understanding of construction methods, procurement routes and commercial risk
• Familiarity with Trimble or equivalent estimating tools
• Experience in two-stage or negotiated tendering and value engineering

Responsabilités

• Lead or support tenders from enquiry to submission and handover.
• Prepare and validate detailed estimates, cost plans and pricing schedules.
• Coordinate supply-chain enquiries and ensure competitive quotations.
• Maintain auditable tender records and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Mentor staff and share knowledge across the department.
• Support post-tender negotiations and tender handover to delivery teams.
