Safran is seeking an External Supply Planner in the United Kingdom to oversee ERP-based supply plans with external suppliers, ensuring material availability to support production while actively addressing risks, capacity constraints, and adherence to schedules.

This role sits within the External Supply Chain team and focuses on tactical and operational supplier management, not commercial negotiation, contributing to supply continuity, performance monitoring, and alignment with the production

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP-driven material scheduling and MRP processes.
• Background in production or material scheduling in regulated industries.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsabilités

• ERP Supply Plan Execution: Interpret and action MRP outputs to create, adjust, and expedite purchase orders and supplier schedules.
• Supplier Coordination: Be the first point of contact for daily operational matters with assigned suppliers; communicate changes to schedules.
• Capacity & Risk Management: Assess supplier capacity vs. forecast and identify shortfalls or bottlenecks early.
• Supplier Performance Monitoring: Track On-Time Delivery; maintain supplier performance data and support reviews.
• Planning Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align material plans with final assembly requirements.
• Data and System Maintenance: Maintain ERP planning parameters; support root cause analysis of MRP discrepancies.
• Continuous Improvement: Propose process improvements to enhance supplier collaboration and ERP usage.
