Job summary

Lyreco is seeking a Supply Chain Planner in Telford to manage suppliers, ensure optimal supply chain performance and foster strong relationships. Your work will cover contract support, order management and action planning to achieve best supplier performance.

You will join the Telford team, use SAP, and leverage Excel (v-lookups, pivots) to monitor SSL, place orders and analyse backorders. The role expects a proactive communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and delivers continuous

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP (Supply Chain Modules).
• Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including v-lookups and pivot tables.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work under pressure.
• Excellent negotiation skills to communicate at all levels of the business.
• Proven experience in stock management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Head of Planning to manage suppliers, evaluate their service level (SSL), and establish action plans accordingly.
• Monitor and follow up on supplier service level improvement plans.
• Place purchase orders and diligently track orders to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Analyse root causes of backorders and devise continuous improvement action plans.
• Handle supplier litigation and effectively plan supplier returns when necessary.
