Carnival UK is seeking an Employee Relations Executive (FTC until October 2027) to join the People and Legal team. You will manage an ER portfolio, provide practical guidance to managers and support restructures and ER projects in a hybrid setup.

Ideal candidates will have ER advisory experience, solid knowledge of UK employment law and CIPD Level 5 or equivalent. This role offers a dynamic environment with development opportunities and a clear career path.

Qualifications

• Experience providing practical advice and guidance to managers on people matters, ER processes and HR policies.
• Sound understanding of UK employment law and Employee Relations processes, with ability to apply in day-to-day ER situations.
• Experience managing or supporting ER casework such as disciplinary, grievance, absence management or performance cases.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• CIPD qualification would be advantageous, however equivalent professional knowledge and experience will be considered.

Responsabilités

• Managing portfolio of ER advice queries and lower-risk casework including sickness absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance.
• Providing clear, practical advice and guidance to managers to handle ER issues confidently.
• Supporting consultation activities, restructures, reorganisations and wider ER projects.
• Developing knowledge of UK employment legislation and applying it to day-to-day ER matters.
• Sharing case insights and trends to support learning and continuous improvement across the ER team.
