Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking an Associate Director of Environmental Planning to lead complex environmental planning and assessment work in London or Reading.

You will collaborate with planners, engineers and environmental specialists to deliver integrated solutions across energy transition, water resilience and infrastructure. You will manage workstreams, mentor junior colleagues and help develop client relationships while contributing to bids and business development.

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental planning or related discipline is desirable.
• RTPI membership or similar accreditation is advantageous.
• Collaborative and motivated to deliver high‑quality environmental solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental planning and assessment projects across development and infrastructure sectors.
• Provide environmental planning and consenting advice to clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate preparation of EIAs, Environmental Statements, and related documentation.
• Manage project workstreams and ensure timely, high‑quality deliverables.
• Advise on environmental constraints, opportunities and consenting requirements from inception to delivery.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement, consultations, workshops and meetings.
