Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Associate Director – Landscape Planning to lead and shape our landscape planning services across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will drive strategic and technical leadership, manage client relationships and mentor multidisciplinary teams across UK offices.

You will bring extensive experience in landscape planning, LVIA/TVIA, and strategic landscape assessments, including Green Belt work, with a proactive, strategic approach to delivering sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex landscape planning projects.
• Strong client relationship management skills.
• Excellent technical expertise in LVIA, TVIA and strategic landscape assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead landscape and townscape planning projects delivering high-quality outputs.
• Provide expert input into LVIA, TVIA and strategic landscape assessments.
• Advise on landscape capacity, sensitivity studies and Green Belt evaluations.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and support career development.
• Mentor and guide team members; develop technical capability.
• Grow existing and new client accounts and identify opportunities.
• Contribute to bid preparation and client engagement.
• Represent the landscape team in meetings and inquiries.
• Collaborate across UK offices to deliver integrated solutions.
