Qualifications

• Experience in environmental planning, consultancy or related discipline.
• Good knowledge of UK planning and environmental assessment framework.
• Experience delivering or coordinating EIA and environmental consenting projects.
• Experience managing project workstreams and coordinating multidisciplinary inputs.
• Understanding of environmental legislation, policy and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to environmental planning and assessment projects across sectors.
• Provide environmental planning and consenting advice to clients and teams.
• Coordinate preparation of EIAs, Environmental Statements and related documentation.
• Manage project workstreams with input from technical specialists.
• Advise on environmental constraints and consenting requirements from inception to delivery.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement, consultations, workshops and meetings.
• Liaise with clients, authorities, regulators and other stakeholders.
• Review technical information to reflect environmental considerations in outputs.
• Support project management, including programmes, budgets and resources.
• Assist in bids, tenders and business development; mentor junior colleagues.
