Job summary
Ramboll is seeking a Principal Environmental Consultant for Due Diligence to support fast-paced UK and global M&A transactions. You will identify key EHS/ESG risks, deliver Phase I ESAs and LECR, and provide high-quality client reports for both buy-side and sell-side deals.
You will lead due diligence projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage proposals, and travel within the UK and Ireland as needed.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree/qualifications. Ideally in environmental studies/geography or similar.
- Sound understanding of UK environmental regulations and sustainability regulations in Europe.
- 7 to 12 years of practical work experience delivering Phase I ESAs, LECR, ESG assessments where possible.
- Experience in supporting proposal preparation and client discussions.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and LECR assessments for varied sites.
- Delivery of ESG assessments for buy-side and sell-side transactions with client reports.
- Proposal development, budgeting, and client relationship development.
- Project management and coordination on multi-site, multi- geography due diligence projects.
