Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an Experienced Senior Consultant Environmental Due Diligence to join our UK & Ireland CST team. The role focuses on identifying EHS/ESG risks and delivering high‑quality, client‑focussed due diligence across buy‑side and sell‑side engagements.

You will support proposals, manage multi‑site projects, and collaborate with in‑house specialists across several EHS/ESG disciplines to help clients negotiate and prioritize sustainability post‑acquisition.

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental studies/geography or similar.
• Strong understanding of UK environmental regulations and European environmental/sustainability regulations.
• 7–12 years in delivering Phase I ESAs, LECR, and ESG assessments along with proposal support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals with pricing, budgets, and timescales; participate in client discussions.
• Coordinate medium to large projects across multiple geographies for buy‑side and sell‑side due diligence.
• Deliver Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and LECR assessments for diverse sites, including manufacturing facilities.
• Lead ESG assessments with desk research and client‑focussed reporting.
