Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an Environmental Consultant for Due Diligence (DD) to join our busy UK transactions team. You will help identify EHS and ESG risks, support Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and ESG reviews, and provide concise client-focused due diligence reports for buy-side and sell-side transactions.

You will deliver due diligence assessments, assist with project management, and help develop client proposals.

Qualifications

3 to 4 years of practical work experience delivering Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and ESG assessments.
Solid understanding of UK environmental regulations and basic European sustainability rules (CSRD, CBAM).
Degree in geosciences, natural sciences, environmental sciences or engineering or equivalent qualification.
Ability to understand information quickly, work efficiently, and act autonomously.
Strong written and verbal communication; collaborative mindset and willingness to travel within UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities

Deliver Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Limited Environmental Compliance Assessments for a range of sites to support buy-side and sell-side due diligence.
Deliver ESG assessments and prepare client-focused reports.
Support project management activities, including tracking deliverables and coordinating inputs to meet deadlines.
Contribute to development of client proposals, including scope definition and fee inputs.
