Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Risk Manager for our Energy & Natural Resources division in the North West. The role focuses on risk capture, assessment and cost profiling across varying project sizes.

You will be embedded with a nuclear client and attend client offices in Warrington three days per week. The position requires strong communication and analytical skills, familiarity with risk tools (Safran, @risk, PRA) and a proactive approach to mitigating threats and exploiting opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk management across project lifecycles; nuclear experience desirable but not required.
• Ability to tailor risk strategies to client needs and communicate complex risk data to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with common risk standards (ISO31000, MoR) and risk toolsets.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement risk management processes tailored to the client’s needs and best practices.
• Facilitate risk workshops with subject matter experts.
• Create and maintain risk registers and related information.
• Conduct quantitative risk assessment (QRA) for cost and schedule impacts.
• Produce risk reporting using PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Power BI.
• Collaborate with Project Controls and supply chain to address risks.
